STORMDETEC is a storm detector which supplies information designed to warn of and predict the risks of lightning activity before the first strike occurs.

STORMDETEC comprises a sensor installed in an outdoor location and an acquisition
unit delivering the information to the users.

STORMDETEC allows three fields thresholds to govern various levels of alert :
« storm tendency », « storm approaching » and « storm active ». Alarm are stopped when the field reaches under the thresholds levels after an end timer.
