STROMDETEC and STRATO
STORM DETECTOR : STORMDETEC is a storm detector which supplies information designed to warn of and predict the risks of lightning activity before the first strike occurs. STORMDETEC comprises a sensor installed in an outdoor location and an acquisition unit delivering the information to the users.
ISOLATION SWITCH : STRATO is a system for switching operation with a great capability of electric insulation allowing a complete protection from overvoltage on the mains network. STRATO could be activated by a storm detector (STROMDETEC), in automatic mode or by a local operator. A locking input allows to forbid the opening of system contacts (e.g. : generating set not started).
